Official Release: Horizon refunds early users of mainnet beta
Dear Community,
Please note that the protocol fees were set too high by mistake in the early rounds of the Horizon Finance mainnet beta. We apologize for this oversight and will be fully reimbursing all affected participants.
For transparency, the oversight was that the protocol fee parameter was set to 1% per round rather than 1bp. This affected all rounds completed before Mar-23–2021 8:00am UTC (block 12093971). The parameter was updated to 1bp as soon as we spotted the mistake, and protocol fees have been 1bp per round as originally intended since that time.
If you were one of the wallets affected, please claim your reimbursement by visiting beta.horizon.finance, and then navigate to the claim page as per below screenshots👇
- First, you will need to click the “Refund” button that drops down from your MetaMask wallet tab.
2. Then, if you are eligible for the claim, you will enter the page below.
3. Last step, just click the “Refund” button and you can check your wallet later. The whole claim process is only two clicks away, as simple as that.
